Peanuts burfi is a simple and easy burfi recipe prepared with very less ingredients including peanuts, sugar, and milk powder (optional). An ideal Indian sweet recipe perfect for festivals like rakhi, deepavali and ganesh chaturthi which can be prepared within 15 minutes without much hassle.
This festival season do make this delicious, melt-in-mouth peanut burfi and enjoy its mouth-watering and juicy taste along with friends and family!

Sing Burfi Recipe | Peanuts Burfi Recipe | Moongfali ki Burfi
Ingredients
- 2 cup peanuts
- 1 cup sugar
- ยฝ cup water
- 4 tbsp or ยผ cup milk powder
- ยผ tsp cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp ghee
- Garnish: edible silver vrak
Instructions
- In a pan, add 2 cups of peanuts and dry roast them on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and remove the cover of the peanuts with a kitchen towel.
- Now grind peanuts in a mixture jar with pulse grinding.
- Then sieve grinded peanut mixture. Add ยผ cup milk powder and mix well.
- In a heavy bottom pan, add 1 cup sugar and ยฝ cup water. Bring it to a boil and cook till one string consistency of sugar syrup.
- Add grinded peanut mixture and mix quickly.
- Then add cardamom powder and ghee. Mix well.
- Switch off the gas when the mixture starts to leave the sides of the pan.
- Set burfi mixture into greased tray and allow it to cool.
- Cut burfi into pieces and Garnish with edible silver vrak.
Notes
- The peanuts and sugar proportion should be 2:1
- Grind peanuts on pulses so oil is not resale while grinding it.
- Milk powder gives a good taste to burfi
- Ghee gives shine and smoothness to burfi
- Store burfi in the refrigerator for 6-7 days.
